A bit of history The art of jewellery is in some ways as old as the world itself; naturally driven by an invincible inclination, men and women were looking for the childhood of mankind, everything that could contribute to decorate and make their person stand out. From the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, jewellery was mostly adorned with religious subjects, In the 17th century, head jewellery and pins were very fashionable; bodice ornaments could be worn as pendants, suspended or sewn to the garment. Since the middle of the 20th century, three sectors have been differentiated : Precious metal jewellery, costume jewellery often using materials such as plastic and handcrafted jewellery. Handcrafted jewellery for animal lovers The animal world proves to be a great source of inspiration for jewellery designers, who create all sorts of coquetries in homage to our hairy companions.
